The CACS Vision
CACS will be a premier Seventh-day Adventist institution where students:
- Think deeply
- Live fully
- Serve unselfishly
- Honor God completely
Mission
Cocoa Adventist Christian School exists to provide students with a Christ-centered Seventh-day Adventist Education:
- Cultivating the desire to nurture a personal relationship with Christ.
- Training Students to become active missionaries to the community and the world.
- Motivating students to achieve God’s purpose in their lives.
Philosophy of Faith
The philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist Christian education views education as a means of restoring human beings to their original relationship with God. Believing the redemptive aim of true education to be the restoration of human beings into the image of their creator, CACS, in cooperation with the church and the home, strives to prepare each learner for responsible citizenship in this world to come.
True education imparts more than academic knowledge. It fosters the balanced development of the whole person—spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. Its time dimension links us to eternity.
True Christian Education seeks to:
- Develop a life of faith in God and respect for the dignity of all human beings
- Build a character that reflects the character of the creator.
- Nurture thinkers rather than mere reflectors of others’ thoughts
- Promote loving service rather than selfish ambition
- Ensure maximum development with each individual's potential
- Embrace all that is true, noble, and beautiful
Innovation at a FLCOE School
Our Major Goals
Our school is a place where faith, education, and service come together to prepare students for a meaningful life grounded in Biblical principles and a connection with God. Our vision is to grow into a thriving K-12 school that inspires academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community engagement.
Expanding Academics

- Develop specialized programs such as STEM, arts, and practical life skills, ensuring students are well-rounded and prepared for higher education or vocational paths.
- Introduce dual-enrollment opportunities with local colleges to allow high school students to earn college credits.
Sports and Character Development
- Establish a sports team that not only focuses on athletic skills but also teaches teamwork, leadership, discipline, and Christ-like character.
- Host interfaith sports tournaments to foster fellowship with other schools and build connections.
Greenhouse and Sustainability
- Develop a greenhouse program where students learn to grow plants, manage resources, and give back to the community through fresh produce donations.
- Incorporate sustainability education, teaching students to care for God’s creation and live responsibly.
- Host gardening workshops for the local community, emphasizing health and sustainability.
